Creating my Company website : Wix Vs WordPress – Part 2

Creating my Company website : Wix Vs WordPress – Part 2

Ok, so I thought Wix would be a great fit for my company website. Until I started playing around with it and realised alot of limitations. I couldn’t even get the titles to display properly for my gallery. Extremely frustrating. Decided to give WordPress a try, but basically, it’s hard to “try” out WordPress. The only way is to download it, install it on your computer and “trial” it out. At least that’s what I managed to find out from googling. Anyhow, I decided to find some youtube videos on…

Creating my Company website : Wix Vs WordPress

Before I go ahead and start contacting wholesalers, need to create a website for my company first. Since I’m pretty much a noob when it comes to creating a website, I best find something simple. A simple google search brought me to this page : Wix vs WordPress – Our Detailed Comparison. Wix’s templates look really good to me, clean and simple. Look at this example. It has less flexibilty than WordPress, but it’s great for a complete coding idiot like me 😀 Pricing for Wix looks decent too. US$16.17 per month for eCommerce plan. Comes…

Applying for EIN

Applying for EIN

You can get an EIN immediately if you apply online at the IRS website. International applicants must call (267) 941-1099 (Not a toll-free number). If you prefer, you can fax a completed Form SS-4 instead. A short youtube video on how to fill up Form SS-4 to obtain your EIN form. I intend to use Faxzero to fax the form over, it’s free. However, you will need to indicate a return number if you want them to reply within a few days. Unfortunately, Faxzero does not provide a free receive service.   Please follow and like…

Finding a Prep Service in US

Finding a Prep Service in US

My first hurdle to starting my FBA online business was actually finding a prep service in the US. I had thought it would be the easiest step of all, but it proved me wrong. First, I went through a list of prep services I obtained from the PAC Course materials. These can be found by googling too. One of the most recommended Prep company by the PAC is actually My Fulfillment Team. They were the first I tried to sign up with, but as I did not have a US…

Selling on Amazon. What is Amazon FBA?

Selling on Amazon. What is Amazon FBA?

Why sell on Amazon? Think of Amazon as a sales channel like eBay, Qoo10 or even your own eCommerce website. You list your goods there and sell them to Amazon’s customers. You can leverage on Amazon’s traffic and branding to help you reach hundreds of million of customers. And your customers won’t be just from the US alone. Other than amazon.com, you can sell on amazon.co.uk, amazon.ca, etc. You can also opt to turn on the FBA export option so your products can be available to customers worldwide simply from your listings on the…

My FBA Journey starts

My FBA Journey starts

A little bit about my background. Prior to starting my Amazon FBA journey, I was a trader and not a very successful one at that. I mainly traded Singapore stocks, Forex, Indices and some US stocks. I’ve taken numerous courses over the years, subscribed to numerous signal services and tried out countless trading systems, with very inconsistent results. After I got tired of throwing away money into the market, I decided I needed to look elsewhere, to try something else. I found many promising ideas. There’s affiliate marketing, eBook publishing, website/blog monetizing and…
